From Application to Registered Apprentice
Training, employment, and union membership work together—but each plays a different role.
Applying to AMMA does not automatically make an individual an apprentice. Apprenticeship officially begins after employer selection, execution of an Apprenticeship Agreement, and registration with the Department of Labor.
