“As the father of four, medical expenses have always been a big issue with my family’s finances. When I started out in the trade on the non-union side, medical coverage was $2k a month and of poor quality, leading us to often go without coverage and regular preventive health care. With our union medical plan I no longer have to gamble with my families physical and financial health, and that takes away a great deal of stress.”
